Questions & Answers

What is Fare Radar?

Fare Radar is a free Indian travel fare aggregator. It searches RedBus, Paytm, AbhiBus and IRCTC at the same time and ranks every bus, train and flight by price, rating and value, so you see the cheapest, best-rated and best-value option for your route and date in one search.

How does Fare Radar find the cheapest bus ticket?

Fare Radar searches RedBus, Paytm and AbhiBus simultaneously and ranks every bus by price, rating and value (rating divided by price), so the cheapest, best-rated and best-value options for your route and date appear together in one list. Searches are live, free and carry no booking fee.

Which platforms does Fare Radar compare fares from?

Fare Radar compares live bus fares from RedBus, Paytm and AbhiBus, plus IRCTC train availability and booking-chance predictions for rail travel. Flight fare comparison across Indian airlines is in development.

Does Fare Radar sell tickets?

No. Fare Radar never sells tickets and has no booking fee. It compares publicly available fares and links you to the original platform — RedBus, Paytm, AbhiBus or IRCTC/confirmtkt — where you complete the purchase yourself.

Are the fares on Fare Radar real-time and up to date?

Yes. Every search hits the live booking platforms directly — fares, ratings and seat availability are fetched the moment you search, so the prices you see match what the platforms are showing right now.

Does Fare Radar show IRCTC train booking chances?

Yes. When you enter IRCTC station codes, Fare Radar fetches real train availability and shows a probability score for each class, so you can see which trains and classes are most likely to confirm before you book on IRCTC.

Which cities and routes does Fare Radar cover?

Fare Radar covers intercity bus routes across India that are available on RedBus, Paytm and AbhiBus, plus IRCTC train routes between any two stations the platform serves. Just start typing a city or station to search.

Is Fare Radar free to use?

Yes. Fare Radar is completely free — it compares publicly available fares and sends you to the booking platform to complete your purchase. There is no booking fee and no sign-up required.

Is Fare Radar free, and do you store my search data?

Fare Radar is and will always be a free tool. It stores no personal data and no search history on any server — recent searches live only in your own browser's local storage, never leave your device, and can be cleared any time. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no email collection.

Do I need to create an account to search?

No. You can search any route and date without an account, sign-up or login. Your recent searches are saved only in your own browser's local storage, which you can clear anytime.

What happens if a price changes between my search and booking?

Fares change live on the booking platforms, and the price Fare Radar shows is captured at the moment of your search. The final price you pay is the price shown on the booking platform when you complete your purchase.

How do I get the best price for my route?

Use the ranked lists: 'cheapest' sorts by lowest price, 'bestRated' sorts by highest traveller rating, and 'bestAndCheapest' sorts by rating per rupee, which highlights the best-value options. Compare across all three before you book.

Does Fare Radar have a mobile app?

No. Fare Radar is a responsive website that works on any phone, tablet or desktop browser — just open https://fareradar.in on your mobile. There is no app to install.
